Paul Hellyer, Canadian Minister of Defense

Paul Hellyer was a Canadian engineer, politician, author, speaker, and commentator.

Hellyer was born and raised on a farm near Waterford, Ontario, the son of Lulla Maude (Anderson) and Audrey Samuel Hellyer. Upon completion of high school, he studied aeronautical engineering at the Curtiss-Wright Technical Institute of Aeronautics in Glendale, California, graduating in 1941. While studying, he also obtained a private pilot’s license.

After graduation, Hellyer was employed at Fleet Aircraft in Fort Erie, Ontario, which was then making training craft for the Royal Canadian Air Force as part of Canada’s war effort in World War II. He attempted to become an RCAF pilot himself but was told no more pilots were necessary, after which he joined the Royal Canadian Artillery and served in Canada as a gunner for the duration of the war. After the war, Hellyer went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto in 1949.

First elected as a Liberal in the 1949 federal election in the riding of Davenport, he was the youngest person ever elected to that point in the House of Commons of Canada. He served a brief stint as Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of National Defence. He was then named Associate Minister of National Defence in the cabinet of Prime Minister Louis St. Laurent.

In 1963, Hellyer became the 16th Minister of National Defence in the cabinet of Lester B. Pearson. This was the most significant period in Hellyer’s political career. As Minister of Defence, he oversaw the drastic and controversial integration and unification of the Royal Canadian Navy, Canadian Army, and the Royal Canadian Air Force into a single organization, the Canadian Forces.

On June 3, 1967, Hellyer flew in by helicopter to officially inaugurate an unidentified flying object landing pad in St. Paul, Alberta. The town had built it as its Canadian Centennial celebration project, and as a symbol of keeping space free from human warfare. The sign beside the pad reads:

The area under the World’s First UFO Landing Pad was designated international by the Town of St. Paul as a symbol of our faith that mankind will maintain the outer universe free from national wars and strife. That future travel in space will be safe for all intergalactic beings, all visitors from earth or otherwise are welcome to this territory and to the Town of St. Paul.

Through follow-up elections, he would rise through the ranks of the Liberal party before choosing to sit as an Independent in the House of Commons in 1971. Hellyer was also one of the earliest investors in the Toronto Sun newspaper in 1971. He also served as a syndicated columnist for the newspaper between 1974 and 1984.

He was the U. K. Queen’s longest-serving Privy Councillor at the time of his death at 6:31 PM in Toronto, Canada, on August 8, 2021. His decline began with a fall two months before his death on June 19, 2021.

Canada’s Toronto Star reports that on August 6, 2021, Paul Hellyer “had celebrated his 98th birthday surrounded by his children, five grandchildren, and other families two days before his passing.

Paul Hellyer Acknowledged UFOs “As Real As the Airplanes That Fly Over Your Head”

In early September 2005, Paul Hellyer made headlines by publicly announcing that he believed in the existence of UFOs. Later on, at a UFO conference, he invited award-winning journalist and author Linda Moulton Howell to go to lunch and surprised me when he to her, “Linda, you need to understand something important about my work as Canadian Minister of National Defence from 1963 to 1967. That’s before Pierre Trudeau became Prime Minister. You have investigated animal mutilations and human abductions; you have interviewed sheriffs and deputies who have told you the perpetrators of the animal mutilations are creatures from outer space; you have military sources who relate their firsthand experiences with UFOs and non-humans. But, Linda, when I was Minister of National Defence from 1963 to 1967, there was not ONE SINGLE FILE or DOCUMENT that crossed my desk about UFOs and other intelligences. Nothing! Then a USAF General in the Pentagon personally sent me a copy of Lt. Col. Philip J. Corso’s book, The Day After Roswell, that came out in July 1997 on the 50th anniversary of the Roswell UFO crashes.

Paul Hellyer told Linda Moulton Howell that the American General said that Col. Corso wrote the truth and that Paul should read every word of that important book.

“And I did read it, Linda. That’s why I wanted to talk to you today. While the United States in the 1960s began having hundreds of bloodless, trackless animal mutilations and human abductions, someone in the Pentagon decided to keep the facts from Canada’s Ministry of Defence on your northern border. But we were allies in World War II!  So, why did the U. S. Pentagon shut out Canada?”

Two years later on February 28, 2007, the Ottawa Citizen reported that Paul Hellyer, the former Canadian defense minister said  “… advanced technology from extraterrestrial civilizations offers the best hope to save our planet (from climate change). We need to persuade governments to come clean on what they know.”  Paul Hellyer was referring to what governments know about other conscious life in this universe.

“Some of us suspect They, the Other Intelligences, know quite a lot, and it might be enough to save our planet if applied quickly enough.”  Those are haunting words today as all over the world drought and fires are spreading at record-breaking speeds and square miles.”

“There Are At Least Four Species of Aliens”

Paul Hellyer speaks openly in front of a Senate sub-committee about ET’s current activity on Earth on May 13, 2013 at the Citizen Hearing on Disclosure in Washington D.C..

“Just as children survive the idea of the tooth fairy and Santa Claus when they become adults, I believe that taxpaying citizens are quite capable of accepting the new and broader reality. That we live in a Cosmos teeming with life of various sorts. The fact that some other civilizations are more advanced than ours may be humbling, but it exists, and is being kept secret by the same vested interests who control our destiny.”

“Who are these vested interests and what are they up to? Well, Senator, we’re talking about a military junta. In my opinion that is true but I have broadened and deepened the definition to the Cabal, and the Cabal comprises members of the three sisters, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Bilderbergs, and the Trilateral Commission, the international banking cartel, the oil cartel, members of various intelligence organizations, and select members of the military junta, who together have become a shadow government, of not only the United States but much of the Western World.

“The aim of the game is a world government comprised of members of the Cabal who are elected by no one and accountable to no one. And according to Mr. Rockefeller, the plan is much advanced. Does this help you to understand why our civil rights are being taken away from us? I say “Us” because Canada, too, is included in the Grand Plan.”

“So here we are more than a decade later fighting another war that cannot be won. There is no country on earth powerful enough to protect its citizens against fanatical hate, as we learned from the Boston Marathon. The mere attempt to pursue the impossible pits neighbor against neighbor and the state power structure against everyone. All of the freedoms won by the millions of men and women who fought and died in WWII are being flushed unceremoniously down the drain.”

“The only hope of peace is negotiated settlement. This will require a paradigm shift in American attitudes. It involves a de facto renunciation of the plan for a new American energy, and a pledge of cooperation with all of humankind, to build the kind of world which we all are capable of.”

“Young people everywhere need to be challenged by a noble cause. They need to be involved in arresting global warming. They need to create a banking system that is just and sustainable. And they need to lead the way in the transformation to the new reality that we have to live in harmony with our celestial neighbors as well as seeking peace on Earth. In a word, we have to become spiritual beings and practice the one tenet that the world’s religions have in common, that is, The Golden Rule.”

Paul continues his testimony by speaking about a species of ET’s called the “Tall Whites” and speaks of two ET’s currently working with the United States government.

In a 2014 interview with Russia Today, also known as RT, Paul Hellyer reported that he understood there are at least four species of aliens that have been visiting — or are based on — Earth for thousands of years with most of them coming from other star systems. Whatever his source of information was about alien intelligences, he told RT that the non-humans  “do not think we are good stewards of our planet.”

Reinforcing Paul Hellyer’s conviction that there are other intelligent beings in this universe, in late 2019 Linda Moulton Howell had a discussion with a scientist who reinforced humans are not alone in this universe:  “Linda, I have heard you speculate about this being a holographic universe — perhaps projected from another universe, dimension or timeline. There is now a theory that this universe is a 4-D-projected from an intelligent source in another larger universe with mathematical code that we have intercepted. We have learned much about our ‘consciousness universe’ with the help from OTHER outside friends that live and travel in this galaxy and many other galaxies far beyond our solar system and that also interact with Earth.”
