The Shemitah 2021 – 2022
The Shemitah (shmee-TA), or Sabbath year, is the seventh year of the seven-year agricultural cycle mandated by the Torah for the land of Israel. Understanding this seven-year pattern is essential for understanding the prophecy and mysteries of the Bible that are still applicable today.
It seems there is a major pattern of economic crashes and major stock market corrections that occurring approximately every seven years that correlates with the Biblical “Shemitah cycle” found in the Old Testament.
For instance, the five greatest economic crashes of the last 40 years – 1973, 1980, 1987, 2001, and 2008 – all occurred in Shemitah years – those God set apart as Sabbath years. Below is a list of Shemitah Years in regards to the financial markets and major historical events from 1900 to the present:

For those Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindu’s and Atheists reading this who are not familiar with the Old Testament and the Jewish calendar, the word “Shemitah” is most often translated as “the release” or “the remission.” During a Shemitah year, the people of ancient Israel were commanded by God to let their land rest for a full year. It was also supposed to be a time of releasing and clearing of debts.
The Jewish Torah states, You shall neither sow your field nor prune your vineyard. Lev 25:4. And at the end of every seven years, you shall grant a release of debts. And this is the form of the release: Every creditor who has lent anything to his neighbor shall release it; he shall not require it of his neighbor or his brother, because it is called the Lord’s release. Deut 15:1-2
According to the Bible, during a period when the people of Israel did not observe the Shemitah year, was one of the main reasons why God collapsed the Hebrew Empire and exiled the Jews to Babylon (modern-day Iraq) for seventy years.
The Shemitah year always begins in the fall, during September during the holiest month in Judaism. The last Shemitah year was Jewish year on 5775 (25 Sept 2014 – 13 Sept 2015), and the next Shemitah year started on the Jewish Year Elul 29, 5781 (Sept 6, 2021 – Sep 25, 2022) at sunset in Jerusalem. Which is the beginning of the Feast of Trumpets in 2021 and then ending with the next one in 2022.

Some Jewish scholars and historians believe If America refuses to heed the warnings of the Shemitah, repent and turn back to God, the possibility of China becoming the world’s next big financial and military powerhouse will happen.
Based on the descending phase of the Barbault Cyclic Index that began its precipitous drop in May of 2014. it is quite probable we will see things happen during this Shemitah period, that are similar to things that we have seen in past Shemitah years. Meaning the world is heading into a dangerous and perilous financial period.
