National Horoscope of the Republic of Mali
The Republic of Mali is a landlocked country in West Africa. Mali fell under the control of France during the late 19th century. By 1905, most of the area of Mali was under firm French control as a part of French Sudan. In early 1959, French Sudan (which changed its name to the Sudanese Republic) and Senegal united to become the Mali Federation. The Mali Federation gained independence from France on June 20, 1960. On September 22, 1960, at 11:25 GMT in Bamako, the Proclamation of Independence of the Republic of Mali came into force.
